Inserts

If you are planning to design a bespoke built-in fireplace, a stove insert can simply be slotted into the space provided.

The insert contains the actual firebox and is supplied with an airwash system, which causes the door glass to burn clean at high temperatures. The firebox is lined with light-coloured Thermotte™ panels, which create a particularly attractive and delicate flame effect. Thermotte™ is extremely durable and shock-resistant. It is made from a compact material that reduces soot and discolouration. Insulation plates are subject to a great deal of wear and tear, and will eventually have to be replaced. If the fire is lit and kept going correctly, the Thermotte™ naturally burns clean and will stay looking nice and light coloured for many years.

Nordpeis supplies only clean-burning stoves, with effective secondary combustion, which provides more heat and less soot. Most of our inserts can be connected directly to an external air supply, so they work just as well in low-permeability modern homes as in older houses and cottages.
